Mental Health Month

May is Mental Health Month. Started in the U.S. in 1949 by Mental Health America (MHA), it is aimed at raising awareness about trauma and the impact it can have on physical, emotional and mental well-being of individuals and communities. Each year, MHA and multiple other organizations come together to educate, increase awareness and fight the stigma surrounding mental health. The theme for 2018 is Fitness #4Mind4Body to help individuals focus on what can be done to be fit for future.
