National Bullying Prevention Month

Every year in October, American schools, institutions, and organizations observe the “National Bullying Prevention Month.” The aim of observing this month is to inform and educate communities about the prevalencce of bullying and cyberbullying, its effects on the lives of children worldwide, and activities aimed at curbing these. Constant exposure to bullying may result in trauma and constant fear in those falling prey to bullying friends and classmates. It is sponsored by the PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.
