Antidepressant Death Awareness Month

Depression is a common mental health disorder in the United States and it is treated with antidepresaants. Excessive use of or dependence on antidepressants can have debilitating consequences. Therefore, Americans observe the “Antidepressant Death Awareness Month” in remembrance of those who have been hurt by or have succumbed to antidepressant use. The idea behind observing this event is to raise awareness about the use of antidepressants and their impact.
